Athlon is one of the largest rental and mobility providers for individuals and organisations in the Netherlands.

About the project

2BHonest was asked by Athlon to help them integrate sustainability into their day-to-day operations. As part of this process, a sustainable procurement strategy was developed in co-creation with the procurement department. It was important to devise a strategy that was in line with Athlon’s broader CSR strategy and that provided concrete tools for the day-to-day practice of buyers.

The strategy reflects important values within Athlon, such as road safety and the climate. We have also looked at important social issues such as human rights and circularity.
