IGS GeboJagema is a technology company specialising in the development, manufacture and validation of multi-cavity injection moulds. These moulds find their way to healthcare and pharmaceutical manufacturers around the world for the production of medical materials such as contact lenses, inhalers and insulin pens. With its tailor-made solutions, IGS GeboJagema sets the standard for technological progress in the sector.
IGS GeboJagema wants to embed sustainability firmly in its operations. They called on our expertise to develop a strategic sustainability plan. The challenge was to create a strategic framework that effectively integrates relevant ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) themes and is aligned with specific business objectives.
Our first step was to identify the ESG themes with the highest impact by conducting an in-depth analysis. This analysis led to the categorisation of material and non-material themes. We integrated the material themes into a strategic framework and divided them up according to three sustainability pillars. For each pillar and material theme, we formulated specific objectives, targets and KPIs.
This framework provides IGS GeboJagema with a structured approach to its sustainability goals and enables transparent and measurable tracking of progress. This prepares it for future sustainability challenges and requirements.
