About the commissioning party

Mourik is a family-owned company with almost 100 years of history, providing services in four main areas: infrastructure, industry, construction and environmental engineering. The company has a global presence and employs more than 2,000 people.

About the project

We have now been working with Mourik for some time. The initial request was for assistance in tightening up its sustainability strategy. Partly because of the upcoming CSRD legislation, we adapted the process to improve both its strategy and its reporting readiness. 

Activities

We conducted a double materiality analysis and a CSRD gap analysis to recalibrate the sustainability strategy. We also assisted in drafting a reporting manual, policy documents and preparing for the EU taxonomy. Finally, we acted as a sparring partner on various sustainability issues throughout the process, including actively participating in the fine-tuning of the sustainability strategy. 

Result
