CSRD | Double Materiality Analysis | ESG

Bolletje 2BHonest

About the commissioning party

Bolletje offers a range of breakfast, snack and pastry products that are both nutritious and indulgent. Established in 1867, Bolletje has a long history in baking and its name has become part and parcel of the retail/supermarket landscape.

About the project

From 2025, Bolletje will be CSRD compliant and will have to start reporting non-financial information in accordance with the CSRD requirements. A dual materiality analysis forms part of this process, which Bolletje has asked 2BHonest to help with.

Activities

We started with an internal and external analysis to identify the most important sector-wide ESG themes. We then validated these themes through interviews with internal and external stakeholders, which culminated in a definitive shortlist.

We then identified and assessed the impact and financial materiality of the selected themes in workshops. We also listed the ESG themes in a materiality matrix and validated the material themes for Bolletje.

Result

As a result of this approach, Bolletje now has a robust materiality analysis that enables it to meet the CSRD requirements and effectively manage and report on its sustainability goals.

“2BHonest heeft ons tijdens dit proces met een professionele en passende aanpak ondersteund, zodat wij aan de slag kunnen met de volgende stappen die ons te wachten staan omtrent duurzaamheidsrapportage.”
