About the commissioning party

Actemium and Omexom are companies belonging to VINCI Energies Netherlands. Actemium works on improving industrial processes in various sectors, including the food, beverage, feed and chemical industries. Omexom makes the energy transition a reality by providing consultancy, engineering, construction and maintenance services for the energy network.  

About the project

Actemium and Omexom asked 2BHonest to come up with a sustainability strategy and help them implement it. A joint strategy with consideration for the themes that matter to both companies.  

Activities

We started with a baseline assessment to identify the most important sustainability issues. This included interviews with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Based on this analysis, we designed a strategic framework with pillars and underlying themes.  

In the months that followed, we also supported Actemium and Omexom in the implementation of their sustainability strategy, supervising various working groups and developing communication tools for internal and external stakeholders. 

Result

Further attention was given to a number of sustainability issues that both Actemium and Omexom need to work on in order to reduce their environmental impact and embark on a sustainable transition to remain relevant as market players in the future. The working groups set about fleshing out these ideas, resulting in action plans involving the whole organisation.
