About the commissioning party

Avebe is a global company that uses potatoes as a raw material. It supplies potato starch and potato protein products for use in food, animal feed, paper, construction, textiles and adhesives.

About the project

For the past three years, Avebe has asked 2BHonest to help write its annual reports in accordance with the GRI guidelines. In the past year, Avebe has also asked 2BHonest to help think about how to make the annual report CSRD-proof, as Avebe will have to report under this legislation in 2026/2027 for the financial year 2025/2026.

Activities

We mapped out the GRI and CSRD requirements and identified the reporting gaps to meet these requirements. We then set out the steps required to close these reporting gaps. We also provided project management and coordination for the writing, design and legal aspects of the annual report.  

Result

Our efforts over the past three years have resulted in a wonderful, interesting and nuanced annual report in the spirit of the GRI guidelines, which prepares us for CSRD compliance for the 2025/2026 financial year.
